Hi! I’m Linda Bax, owner of Classic
Travel, Tours & Tanning. I have worked for Classic Travel
for more than 15 years. I began a career in the travel industry
out of a passion for seeing new places and a fascination with
experiencing various cultures. When the opportunity
to purchase the business arose 8 years ago, I decided to take
on the challenge! Upon
purchasing the business, it was my desire to expand our
services and reach out to the business and recreational
traveler. My mission was to provide full-service travel
assistance, with a focus on ensuring a memorable customer
experience.
As a
result, Classic Travel, Tours & Tanning has made some major
changes over the past couple of years. First, we added
new Wolff
tanning
beds and we offer free tanning visits with the purchase of
tour packages. This value-added service has been well
received by customers who are often leaving the cold Missouri
winter, to find some temporary fun in the sun. The tanning
beds provide a wonderful head start to the anticipated
lazy days at the pool or beach. We also sell our tanning
packages to our current and future travel customers.
Second,
we completely remodeled our
office. Our new environment provides a wonderful place
for our customers to visit, explore travel options or
dream up their next adventure. Last, as you already know,
we now have our website up
and running so clients can preview the latest specials
at their leisure. We also make it convenient to book
tanning appointments online.
The Classic
Travel, Tours & Tanning Staff are some of the most
professional and experienced in the business. Our travel
professionals
are kept well informed and current about all destinations
with access to excellent resources including: the Internet,
Official Cruise Guides, the Hotel Travel Index, videos,
brochures and several travel trade magazines. We also keep
informed by attending seminars, attaining certifications
and networking with other industry professionals. Every
member of our staff is Sandals Certified. We also participate
in the Disney College of Knowledge, the Marriott Excellence
Program and several other travel programs. We believe in
continued education for everyone. This is a forever-changing
business and we are committed to ensuring that the staff
at Classic Travel, Tours & Tanning is equipped with
the tools and knowledge to ensure a memorable customer
experience!
